Media Sales Manager
Based in Aldersgate London, £35k plus Commission (OTE£50k) plus Management Bonus upon successful completion of probation
To build and develop a media sales team for the UK’s leading HR & Talent Management digital media & publishing company’s new London office. You will begin by developing your own client base for the company’s HR & Recruitment digital titles, and you will then progress to recruiting your own London based team. This is a combined role involving selling and managing your own team. You must be able to lead by example, recruit, build and retain a successful team
You should be an experienced Media Sales person within the B2B market. You must have in-depth knowledge of selling display and digital/online advertising across multiple channels. You must have some experience of leading a team and had some involvement with recruiting, onboarding and managing a sales team. Familiarity with regular performance management, appraisals, pipeline evaluations and KPI monitoring would be an advantage.
You must be self -motivated, utterly focused and capable of working autonomously as well as being an integral team member. You must have strong presenting, negotiating and closing skills and an ambition to lead and grow a team. Salesforce or similar CRM system knowledge is essential.
The role is based in the London office. However you must be prepared to travel to the Welwyn Garden City site on a regular basis.
Business Development Manager
Based in Welwyn Garden City. £25k plus commission OTE £45k
An experienced Media/Data Sales person with a good knowledge of the business to business market place. We are looking for someone to sell into our established data division selling direct marketing lists and databases.
To succeed in this role you will need to be determined, confident, resourceful and a self starter, well organised and have good telephone and face to face presenting skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate you can rise to a challenge. Whilst there are opportunities to visit clients you should expect to spend the first couple of months on the phone with online demonstrations.
You will also have had some knowledge of the Direct Marketing industry and understand the benefits of these services to potential clients. You must have a hunger to learn and be willing to invest a substantial amount of your time leaning about our industry.
